PURPOSE
The purpose of the SELFLESS Job Improvement Program is to promote self-sufficiency and aid to individuals and families by providing financial training and career coaching, as well as helping meet the basic needs of the recipients, for short periods of time, so that they can focus their efforts on improving technical skills and long-term job acquisition. Participants will work with qualified professionals to create and follow a budget, as well as receive additional career counseling and coaching as needed. A coach will help determine the amount of funds needed, to supplement any earnings or savings the recipient has, to pay for costs such as: higher education courses, technical training classes, training materials and supplies, living costs, and transportation.
